(New blog post @ Magickal Connections)
This is a hot topic in the pagan world. I'm sure there will be die-hard reconstructionist and historical accuracy enthusiasts who will disagree with me, and that's okay. I have my own soapbox, and my blog is my arena to stamp my feet and proclaim my beliefs, feelings, views, and spirituality.
I've included in this blog post a video by a lovely witch, Molly Roberts, who is talking about this exact same thing-- and much more eloquently than I can.
Have fun...this is a foot-stompin' post and a controversial topic in many pagan circles.
