Hello, Sagittarius!
I'm delighted to kick off a new series of videos, In-Depth Tarot Readings, for the zodiac signs. You're first.  It's likely that I'll be doing only one of these in-depth videos a month to start with, along with my usual twelve monthly free mini-readings for the zodiac signs.

Paving the Way for Love

 

There are so many inspiring magickal tools out there to draw love to you, but I’ve not seen anything created to Pave-the-Way for love.  In order to draw pure genuine love to you, you may need to do some cleansing and clearing of negative energy and negative issues that are baggage from previous relationships or awkward romantic encounters.  This could include something as severe as physical or emotional abuse, as well as irreconcilable differences, or non-compatibility issues.  It all leaves us steeped in a froth of negative energy that needs to be cleared before a new and healthy romantic connection can be made.

Bottle #1, Paving the Way for Love, is the perfect magickal tool for your altar or night-stand.  Hold it, burn a candle beside it, whatever you feel compelled to do to draw negative energies out of your body and away from your spirit.  Center on peace and joy, soul connections, positive energy, and beautiful expectations to draw successful fulfilling Love into your life.

Protection

Bottle #2, Protection, is created to protect you by each of the four directions, to protect you by the four elements, to protect you from anyone wishing you harm, to protect you physically, mentally, spiritually, to protect you and your body, as well as to protect your space, wherever you might place this bottle.  Bottle #2 is also created to protect you from yourself, because often we are our own worst enemy, held back by low-self esteem, fear, uncertainty, or the opinions of other people.

Bottle #2, Protection, is created to protect you from all outward threats, as well as any personal demons.  This bottle works hard for you.  It guards, holds, and contains all the negative energies that try to harm you.  So give this bottle a cleansing bath by placing it in the light of the full moon on a monthly, or bi-monthly basis.

Note:  My witch’s bottles are unique, each one created especially in the moment for their particular intentions.  There will be similarities to each creation, as well as differences.  Each bottle contains a scroll with magickal written intentions, as well as Sea Salt and a variety of herbs and other items.

The recipe for each individual bottle will depend upon my feelings and instincts while creating it, what type of flowers and herbs are growing in my garden, what bottled herbs I have in my magickal cupboard, as well as ideas that come to me for small items geared to the magick at hand.

Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho, It's Off to Work I Go

The following video will give you some idea of the landscape I pass on my commute to work five days a week. (Don't worry, I was watching the road the whole time, I just had my camera in my hand, holding it.)  As a matter-of-fact, I didn't even know what I had gotten on film until I looked at it after I got home from work that day.  I had tried this once previously and had the camera inadvertently facing the wrong way; I had lots of film of my hand and the inside of my car.  (Yes, I saved the video.)

Historical Accuracy & the Modern Practicing Pagan

This is a hot topic in the pagan world.  I'm sure there will be die-hard reconstructionist and historical accuracy enthusiasts who will disagree with me, and that's okay.  I have my own soapbox, and my blog is my arena to stamp my feet and proclaim my beliefs, feelings, views, and spirituality.

I've included in this blog post a video by a lovely witch, Molly Roberts, who is talking about this exact same thing-- and much more eloquently than I can.

One of the women I did a tarot reading for at Next Millennium in October has been on my mind. I just can’t stop thinking about her; and there’s so much more I would like to say to her…so I will.
