New Book UpDate & Updates on Other Services

Writing on book number 7 started at the beginning of December, with the first chapter being due this month.  Chapter one was completed and delivered and has made it's way back to me for editing.  In the mean-time, chapter number 2 is in-progress, with the due date for this chapter falling in January.  This book is tentatively scheduled to be released in June 2020.

I write 5 days a week, beginning in the wee (really, wee!) hours of the morning, after Bob has left for work, and I continue until mid-afternoon, when my brain goes AWOL.

In the meantime, I have temporarily taken down merchandise at The Witch's Corner, because I'm just not going to have the time right now to create it, or process it for shipment.  I have, however, kept the candle altar lighting service up and running (Setting the Lights), as I feel this is still manageable with my schedule.

I also wanted to give a shout-out to my tarot clients, both my regulars and anyone new who might be looking for a reading.  I am still giving readings, I have not stopped this service.

You can purchase an Audio Reading at my tarot website, The Tarot Parlour.

This is the Home Page
at my tarot website.

Audio Readings ~ I will record your reading and email the file to you. I will also include a photo of the cards drawn for you. This is a fast and easy way to get a uniquely personal tarot reading.

Remember to include an up-to-date

working email address!

I've suspended the Daily Card Readings that I was posting at The Tarot Parlour's Faceook Page (in written form), and I didn't realize how much I enjoyed doing these readings until I had to stop. I'm looking forward to doing these readings again, as soon as this book is finished, so hit the Like or Follow button to receive notification when these postings start.

The following video is the last audio version of these daily readings, posted on November 27th.  There is a page of several of these audio versions of the Daily Card Readings available at my tarot website.

The theme for this group

of cards is "Let It Go"

This is the audio version of Daily Tarot Cards for cards drawn on 11-27-2019.  Regardless of the date these cards were pulled, these cards and this reading will be pertinent to you whenever you discover it and hear it.

A Post Before My Trip

In the wee hours of Sunday night (or early Monday morning), some of my kids and I will be headed for the Omaha airport where we’re flying out to Arizona.  There are connections there now that I feel will grow with the years.  I’m going to take advantage of this trip to immerse myself in Sedona for a few days and then go on to the Grand Canyon.  I’m such an incurable home-body that this is a step away from my usual existence, ensconced in my old house and the busy rooms, enjoying the woodsy wild back yard, and just being surrounded by and appreciating our multitude of pets (mostly cats, 6 of them black), and all of this in perfect contentment.

But destiny calls.

                                                     My Kitchen

I’ve been going through checklists of things to do, things to get, things to address, before leaving.  The house-sitter is set with a loaded pantry and fridge and an abundance of pet supplies.  Financial things are done, and strangely enough most of my monthly household bills have come in and been paid, so that’s one less thing to think about.  I have to pack today (Saturday), and I have one more work-as-usual day coming up (Sunday).  And then, we’re off!

I’ll be posting regular updates, photos, and video clips both at my Instagram and at my main Facebook page:

I’ve managed to get a few last minute witchy business things done, which were also on my list, including my Samhain Special at The Witch’s Corner:  follow this link and scroll down, it’s right there http://amythystraine.blogspot.com

I’ve put together a charming little bag to celebrate Samhain and draw in the spirits, spirits of the season and spirits we wish to communicate with.  Samhain is traditionally a time to connect with our ancestors and especially loved ones who have passed.

Honor your ancestors, and honor the spirit of Samhain,
with these magickal items.

The Samhain Special:

a white spirit dollie,
a bottle of Black Cat Oil,
and a black votive candle

$24.99

*Note:  The Black Cat Oil included in this offer
is safe for your skin, so feel free to wear it!

It’s my own recipe, and it
smells wonderful!

With Samhain right around the corner, the end of the year coming, so many of us are questioning so many things about our lives.  There’s relationships and the changes that come with them, the doubts, the questions, the mystery of it all.  Some of us have reached pivotal points where jobs and careers are concerned.

If you’ve ever asked yourself, “Is this it?  Is this all there is to my life?  Is this where I’m suppose to be?”… you’re more than ready for a reading to find some answers.

Magick, Mysticism, The Tarot Parlor ~ & some changes

If you visit The Tarot Parlour, you’ll notice that a lot of options for readings through several types of mediums are no longer available. I’ll only be offering Audio Readings (in a wide variety of spreads & prices), and Video readings ($85) for a 9 card spread. You’ll also find a video on this page that was taped for a client so that you get an idea of what a personal video reading is like.  (It’s a lot like sitting across the table from me, but you’ll be watching it on Youtube.)

I think this is called “semi-retirement”.  I want to share my gift by doing what I love, and I love taping audio readings for my clients in the privacy of my home, usually ensconced at one of my patio tables in my wild and woodsy back yard.  This is the most profound way that I connect with the cards and the cards connect with me.  It’s magickal.

The video below is a promotional video I created for The Tarot Parlour, and I must admit I had a hoot playing with the special effects.  Have a magickal day, and if Spirit is calling to you, book a reading with me so that we can get a clearer picture.

Blessings,
Amythyst

Past, Present, Future Audio Tarot Reading for "Liddy"

This is an audio reading for one of my clients. We'll call her "Liddy". To book your own reading with me, through audio, video, email, or Skype, go to my tarot website, The Tarot Parlour ~ http://tarotreadingswithamythystraine...

*Note: audio readings are usually not used to create a video, this is a special case. Your audio reading will be emailed to you privately, along with a photo of your cards. You will receive your reading as an mp3 attachment that you can download.

Sometimes Talk is Cheap

...at least it is when it comes to Audio Tarot Readings versus Email Readings.  Email Readings, for anyone who does not know are handwritten tarot readings, written out first in long hand and later typed into a document to be emailed to you (aha!...thus, Emailed Readings) These email readings are a darn lot of cotton pickin' work, painstaking work, especially for some of the larger tarot spreads offered, which by the way, are not going to be done in audio form yet because I feel they would be too long, and I need to think about this some more.

But I digress.

The following spreads for Email Readings ARE available in Audio Form!  They're fun and informative, and they are a darn sight cheaper when done this way, not to mention they are much easier to do, faster to produce and get out.  Audio readings are $15.00 (a $10 savings on the 3 Card Spread, and a $35 savings on the other spreads listed):

1. 3 Card Spread
2. Directions & Trends
3. Gypsy’s Magick Spell
4. The Pentagram…
5. Desires & Fears
6. The Path of Desires
7. Partnership & Relationships
